We can dispense your NHS prescriptions and provide advice about your medicines, including Repeat Dispensing.

Complaints

In addition to our complaints policy, if we are unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, then you may escalate your complaint to NHS England by any of the following methods:

Threats of violence or abuse of our staff

Our staff work hard to provide you with the best possible service. Please treat them with the courtesy and respect they deserve.

We may refuse to provide services to individuals who are violent, threaten violence, commit or threaten to commit a criminal offence.

When we are closed...

When the pharmacy is closed, if you urgently need medical help or advice, but it's not a life-threatening situation, contact NHS 111, by calling 111. Information can also be accessed at www.nhs.uk.

Reporting adverse reactions

If you experience side effects from your medication, national requirements dictate that this should be reported via the Yellow Card Scheme. To report an adverse event please click here.

Summary Care Records access

When you sign up to use our NHS services we ask that your provide consent to for us to access your NHS Summary Care Record. The use of this information is for patient safety only, to enable us to confirm all details are correct and to ensure that all prescribed medications are prescribed safely for you to use.

Prescription journey

When you're first prescribed a medicine for a long-term condition, our pharmacist will support you to use it safely and effectively - with follow-ups at one to two weeks and again at one month. This free NHS service is offered where available.

The NHS Prescription Fee is currently £9.90.

As a hub pharmacy in Runcorn, we specialise in the care home sector. Our dedicated team uses an automated dispensing system to ensure efficient, safe prescription processing - streamlining medication supply so your staff can focus on residents. Our service to care homes across the UK is completely free of charge.

Our Service

We offer personalised onboarding support, and our customer support team is available six days a week, including bank holidays, for any medication-related queries. Our dedicated MAR team ensures your records are created and delivered on time. We also collaborate with multiple eMAR providers and offer professional services including covert medication support, all at no cost.

Free Medication Delivery

To ensure that your home has ample time to check the monthly medication, we deliver it one week before the medication changeover. Acute medications are delivered the next day, excluding Sundays and bank holidays. We have partnered with nationwide logistic partners who provide fully tracked delivery services, ensuring the safe and timely arrival of your medications.
